What We Are

Oklahoma Storm Shelter Pros is a marketing and lead generation service. We connect Oklahoma homeowners with independent, licensed storm shelter installers. Compass Camper LLC is not a contractor. We do not sell storm shelters, and we do not handle installation, excavation, or anchoring work. All such work is performed by the independent licensed contractors we send your request to.

No Warranty on Installer Work

The installers we connect you with are independent businesses that carry their own licenses, insurance, and warranties. Compass Camper LLC does not warrant, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the work, products, pricing, conduct, or warranties of any installer. Any contract for shelter installation is strictly between you and the installer.

Your Responsibilities

Verifying the installer is your responsibility. The Oklahoma Construction Industries Board states that general contractors are not currently required to have a state license in Oklahoma for general contracting, so there is no state storm shelter contractor license to verify. Before signing any contract, request current proof of insurance, ask for the FEMA P-320 or ICC-500 test documentation for the specific unit you are buying, ask for the license number covering any electrical or mechanical part of the job, and ask your city or county building department about local rules. You are responsible for evaluating any quote and contract before you agree to it.
